The weekend begins where our hearts are. As the sun drops behind the mountains and the lake turns gold, we’re opening our doors and welcoming you into our future home in Moltrasio, where we are planting our roots along the shoreline.

Moltrasio is Lake Como at its most quietly beautiful. An elegant lakeside village where historic villas line the shore and steep stone paths climb through lush gardens and hidden corners. Waterfalls flow down from the mountains through the greenery. Scenic viewpoints appear unexpectedly, offering sudden glimpses of the lake below. Narrow lanes wind between old houses and ancient stone walls, leading to peaceful corners and the water’s edge.

But Moltrasio is more than a backdrop. It is a living village — generations of Italian families alongside a quieter wave of globetrotters who still do a bit of wandering but have chosen to plant themselves here. A place we feel is rooted and quietly cosmopolitan. Intimate, authentic, and a little bit magic.

The celebrations continue the following day with a very special birthday event at the breathtaking Villa Monastero Pax. This historic villa, originally a Cistercian monastery founded in the 12th century, was transformed into a magnificent private residence in the 1800s. Its spectacular botanical gardens, stretching along the lakefront, showcase rare plant species from around the world and have made it one of Lake Como’s most treasured landmarks. Celebrating this moment surrounded by the people we love most, in such an authentic and historically rich lakeside setting, we truly couldn’t imagine a more beautiful place to mark such a special occasion together.

We’ll wrap the weekend with a relaxed drop-in farewell hugs & brunch — so you may want to schedule your return starting Sunday early afternoon.
