The last two years have been big milestones in both of our lives.

2024 we call ‘Paul’s Epiphany & The Plot Twist in Valerie’s Life’

We consciously evolved our friendship and soulmate companionship into the next dimension of romantic partnership. It wasn’t without a bit of trepidation. Would we drive each other crazy — or make each other's soul sing?

We protected safe space to hold hands and step into it together.

2025 Another Plot Twist: Italy

Paul: ‘You know how you’ve been dreaming of doing a property development / community development in the northern Italian Lakes region? Let’s move to Italy and explore living there.’

Valerie: ‘Now you really have lost your marbles. I’m not leaving London.’

Paul: ‘We believe in ‘And’ not ‘Either/Or’.

Valerie: Ok, oh wise one. La Dolce Vita.

Valerie and Paul — reborn as ‘Valeria and Paolo’ — moved into a little cottage family home on the grounds of Villa Taverna, a lovely private park a few minutes drive up from Como.

Alongside the well-known hat basket, we filled a toy box with hand puppets, legos, etc, successfully convincing ourselves this was for Paul’s grandchildren and the plethora of little ones we are blessed to be “Aunt Val & Uncle Paul’ to. Family and friends filled the pinboard wall with polaroids and our hearts with memories.

2025 also included the passing of a few loved ones…reminding us of the fragility of life, how precious time is.

And making us feel even more grateful for the extraordinary friends, family and created-family we're blessed to share our lives with.

So what’s up for now?

Glad you asked. Now that the cottage is gezellig, we’re opening up our home to share the peace and beauty of Lake Como. We want to share a slice of La Dolce Vita with you.

And as our combined circle is full of fun, open-hearted dreamers & doers — we want to share you with each other.

We both hit two big birthday milestones this year. This is a super opportunity to celebrate life and love together.
